Over 13 years of it — starting on a Food & Drink graduate programme before becoming an Account Manager at Diageo managing a large territory while finishing his Masters in International Business Development. Then Business Development Lead at Softomotive from Series A through to their acquisition by Microsoft. Then Global Sales Specialist inside Microsoft — Power Platform and Business Applications — carrying $37M in pipeline and €10B in revenue responsibility across two continents.

He's closed deals at every level of the market - from early-stage founder agreements to nine-figure enterprise contracts - across two continents.

But the thing he actually learned in those years wasn't a sales technique. It was pattern recognition. The people doing the best work — the ones with real expertise, genuine results, and something worth selling — were almost never the ones winning commercially. Not because the market didn't want what they had. Because they'd never been given a structure that let them stand it up properly. Brilliant at work. Flying blind at the business.

When he left Microsoft and built Dúchas, that's the problem he set out to solve.
